Located north of Daytona Beach, Palm Coast is just minutes from historic St. Augustine. Framed by the Intracoastal Waterway and laced with a web of deep water canals, PalmCoast offers limitless opportunities for boaters. The city has an active Parks & Recreation Department, and Flagler County maintains an office for the Council on Aging in Palm Coast.
Real Estate: Housing costs are lower in Palm Coast than any other community in mid-Florida, which makes the area a very desirable place to relocate. Resales range from $50,000 to $350,000. Flagler County, one of the fastest growing counties in the nation, with a population of about 70,000, is forecast by the University of Florida to have one of the highest job growth rates in the state by 2010.
